Went to  the range today. First time I fired a rifle in maybe 20+ years.
Anyways. Without a rest, and after adjustment. This was the result @ 50 Yards

These 30 shots were taken after I sighted in the rifle  in about a minute and a half.

im needing to adjust some more to the left. But the eleveation is right on.

Only issues I had were 2 FTF from mag problems

2 sticky bolt open problems (resolved with smack against buttstock)

Bolt hold open wouldnt stay open (resolved clp)

I wish I knew before How fun this was going to be cause its a blast.
Now to learn how to reload and im set

Oh yeah . Some of the finish is worn off in front of the forward assist. WHere the shells come out

You waited 20 years for this!  Glad you're back

The wear in front of the forward assist, I assume is on the shell deflector, the wedge behind the ejection port.  Most of the brass marks should wipe off with solvent.  Then again, they're just proof that you actually use your rifle.

keep shootin, and get a reloading setup, it's worth the money and a lot of fun too.

Even Better. I found a great outdoor range that is inexpensive. They sell remington .223 for 10.50 a box.

Some guys are really bringing in the cannons. But its not Black rifle un-freindly.
The EBRs were well represented
