So, after having my Bushy for a year and a half now, this is the first time I really took it out and did a head to head test of the different types of ammo I have. The main reason is for reloading later, but for now, this was an interesting experiment. Testing consisted of 10 shot strings of AE, Hornady V-Max, RORG, S&B, and XM193. First, the test foundation.

First string, AE with a cold barrel

Next round, Hornady 55grn V-Max

Third was RORG, and this brought out interesting point #1-RORG didn't seem to like feeding in my older Colt 20rnd mags. Switch to a new 10rounder, and no problem.

Round 4 was some 55grn S&B

Between 4 and 5 comes interesting point #2-Bipods can bite if you're not paying attention......
Final round was some XM193

So, this wasn't a super accurate test, it was pissing rain and I was using my redneck shooting bench (Chevy tailgate) and I don't profess to be remotely close to a sharp shooter, but I think the V-Max for reloads is going to be a wise choice.

At least it seems to like Vmax.

That it does. I'm sure if I had sand bagged instead of using the bipod, I might have been able to bring the groups tighter, but this was for more of a real world, resting on a log or prone with the bipod test. Plus, it started raining to beat hell soon as I started.
