Ok I've been looking at my options. I'm thinking I want to get a EOTech sight to add to my remodeling project AR (A2 carbine). I like the mount on the carry handle ok, It looks kinda clunky there though. I hate the goose-neck version because it looks like crap I think. So I was wondering... If I want cowitness with my front sights can I buy the handguards with rails and mount the EOTech there (on the handguards)? It looks like they might bring the unit too low though. If that's the case are there any mounts that can raise the scope up a bit so the dot is above the front post. I don't care if the dot and front post are right on each other. I just want to be able to quickly use my irons if I'd like to or need to. |
