I bought a complete Smith lower a month or so ago and Im at odds with myself as to what sort of complete upper to pair with it, I have looked at all the sponsers above and then a couple, my budget is roughly $600 give or take, I would prefer a 1-7 twist since all my other ARs are 1-9(but Im not limited to that) I have considered the Smith uppers and CMMG as well, I believe its AIM thats offering the Troy rails with one of the CMMG uppers so naturally that caught my attention, I have also considered some of the uppers assembled at PK ie the Bushmasters, trying to get the most for my money and being fairly new Im worried about making the wrong choice, in short I was wondering if there were any suggestions out there?? Thanks

Palmetto State Armory has some good deals on 5.56 and 6.8 uppers right now. Offering extra mags and ammo.  Great company to deal with as well.

It's a bit above your budget, but I'd say Bravo Co.

Wait for this to come back into stock
And buy this
This
And this (The 7 inch drop in rail is on sale right now)
Or this if you don't want a rail

If you add the promo code "CYB" to your brownell's order, you'll save an additional 10%.

Add a rear sight of your choice, and you'd have yourself one hell of a nice rifle.

Good deal on a complete CMMG 14.5 upper with Phantom perma FH: http://store.a51tactical.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=1180

For $515 and with a $600 budget, you'd still have enough left over to get a BUIS or carry handle.

Bravo Company.  Just save a little more. It will be worth the wait and you will be glad you did it. I own 3 Colts and an Armalite SPR and would not hesitate to buy there product for one minute.

My brother has 2 of there uppers and is a big fan who has recently sold me on there stuff. I just purchased 2 of there BCG's  as spare parts / back ups. There quality and quality control are apparent upon inspection of there product. Not to mention they just plain work. Good luck.

I agree with everything but the rail system. Can't beat the look of a KAC RAS and the price. 155$ with a fulls et of rail covers and VFG on the EE right now.

Palmetto is a great company, that stag 6.8 upper is a great deal  considering 7 mags and 2 boxes of $20 each ammo with it.
