[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Really stupid question

Is there a difference in the delta ring for the oval M4 handguards. I have a set of the Oval Colt handguards that do not want to go into the delta ring. Is there a different delta ring or is there a trick to getting them in there?

only 2 types of rings Delta (curent) and Slip(?)(pre A2).

All handguards will work with either type.

I have just looked at what I have again. It looks like I can make them work with a little help from a file. It appears that the piece of the handguard that goes into the delta ring is ust out of round by a little.
