The first one is the Daniel Defense Fixed sight and the second is the LMT A2 Sight

Forgot to put this.  I am wondering which would be a better option to use?  I can co-witness with both of these, but until I buy a optics I want a reliable sight system.  I am using a solid front post.

Do you no what type optic your gonna get? It it were an ACOG or you wanted to use a magnifier you may want to consider a lay down/flip up style like the Magpul... Either or would do you good..

i have a magpul on there now actaully.  But until I can afford an optic i want a decent fixed rear sight.   I am looking at an 517 eotech or aimpoint.  maybe a vortex strikefire is budget requires

Cool than either or will work. LaRue makes a nice one too. I put that behind my Trijicon RMR..

I like the Larue same plane version.

I prefer the LMT, but mostly because it is so similar to the A2 sights that I am already accustomed to.

If you shoot long range and want to dial your elevation, get the LMT.

If you want to set it and forget it, get the DD.

DD A1.5 is great, but if I had to do it again id go LaRue for the QD.

I've been using the DD A1.5 since it first came out and really like it.  I'd certainly buy it again.
