[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Rear Taper Help

Could some folks here give me an accurate measurment maybe using a caliper of this tapered portion of their receiver(s) like in the pic below?

Really would appreciate it as I don't have any lower at present to measure. I'd like to know if all forged lowers have the same measurement as each other. So differen brands would also be a help.

I'm needing this measurement for matching up with a design for a PDW style stock.

I got 1.385 or thereabouts on three lowers, each of different manufacture. Measured side to side on the thinner part that would butt up against a stock or whatever.

What exactly are you wanting a measurement for? Your pic is unclear as to what dimension you want.

Thank you Thank you. I didn't realize that I should have just asked if someone could measure the plate before the castle nut as I believe that would be the same spec as that taper.
