I bought mine from Bushmaster.  They work just fine.

I bought mine from Brownells.  A good wrench, receiver block and a vice make changing a barrel a lot easier.  I wouldn't even bother with the barrel blocks.

Here's  a neat little twist on your every day vise block. I added a parts tray. The block protrudes thru the bottom for the vise to bite.

You can IM me for details

PLASTIXPLUS,

That is a neat trick.  It sure would make scope mounting easier having a place to lay tools.

Nice work

I assume you milled the mag catch slot all the way across so you can mount the lower up-side-down as well.

If you tapped two holes in the top of the block, you could easily attach a plastic or nylon block to serve as a hammer stop for trigger tuning and adjustment.  Just an idea.

Ever think of marketing?

Roger that!  All these years of playing with AR's and never seen one of those.

Thats a redimag.  It allows you to carry an extra mag on the gun without clamping two together.

You still need barrel vise jaws... for removing and installing comps, fh's, brakes.  Do NOT use an action block for this.

For barreling an upper, use only an action block, do not use barrel vise jaws.
