| Anyone had any luck changing/hiding/ lower reciever markings. I just finished my new 6.8 and its really cool but...It says "rifle 5.56 mm"(not cool). Its a Eagle Arms lower if that makes any difference. I know I could have used a 6.8 reciever, but I had 3 sequential lowers that I used for 5.56 varmit, 5.56 pistol, and 6.8 deer rifle. Thanks__Allen |

I don't know how you would go about that without messing up the anodizing, etc. I have 9mm carbines that say 5.56mm on them and it doesn't really bother me. It doesn't seem to affect the accuracy at all |
Yeah, I know, Just kinda bugs me a bit(lot). My pistol says rifle but I have a letter of certification as a stripped lower so I don't worry about the legality. Still, things like that just bug the crap outta me.Thanks__Allen |
Aaah. The obsessive/compulsive personality. Tell me son; have you consulted a mental health professional about this?

I was thinking more along the lines of Acuglass then sand it and finish with Aluma-hide. |
