Recommended Handguard/Rails > Optics, Mounts, and Sights

I have a Bushmaster M4A3 with the 14.5" barrel and the welded on Izzy flash supressor that makes it a legal 16". I'd prefer to have a free floating rail kit installed but because of the welded-on supressor, I cannot do that. Does anyone have any recommendations as to the standard two piece rail kits? I looked at Samco but wasn't too thrilled with those. My budget is in the $300 range. Thoughts?

eta: you have to cut off the delta ring to install. Check the build it yoursef forum.

i have a samson on one of mine and a surefire on the other, both are great imho, yankee hill is ok too for the $$ but i do prefer the samson or SF to them.

are the best I think

I put a RAS on my LMT defender 2000 M4

its ROCK SOLID Battle Proven

you can fine them used
or look for a good deal I paid under 400 KAC VFG and KAC RAS

Depends what you want. The SF is not free float.

Depends what you want. The SF is not free float.

I dont NEED Free Float since its a M4 plus I dont shoot with a sling wich is a MAIN reason to use a free float IMO

Do sammson make a rail HG

I just put on a Surefire M73. I know the feeling about not being able to put on a free float!!!

Send in your upper to have the comp removed, a Laure or DD installed, and put a Phantom in place of the Izzy.
