I'm looking at getting Primary Arm's M3 Red Dot (Aimpoint clone) and was wondering what the best mount was for it. Quick detach?

This is the mount on the website that I am currently eying.

This is the High Cantilever 30MM mount:

Suggestions/alternatives?

Thanks in advance.

I would say LaRue.....but....there's nothing wrong with a PA mount for a PA optic, especially when your M3 comes with one.

Do you have a FSB? If yes, get the high mount for the added $10, If not, get the standard.

Do you need to make room for a magnifier all on your flat top? If yes, get the cantilever for the added $10.

No need to spend money on a mount that costs almost twice as much as the red dot you're putting in it. PA stuff works fine.

I would just use the mount that comes with them.  If for some reason you don't and do not need QD you can use a tall ring, like a Burris X-High Extreme that gives you 1.5" optic height.  By the time you start adding more expensive mounts you are in Vortex Strikefire price range.
