Question: Is a 2MOA dot better or worse than a 4MOA dot? I understand what the nomenclature means, it's the application I'm unsure of and thought I would ask the experts...you guys! Thanks for the help!

What's your application? Will you be using a magnifier?

For now...no. I will get a magnifier in the near future. And actually, since my original post, I put an order in for a Primary Arms 2MOA red dot scope. They've sold out fast in the past and wanted to jump on it while they had them.

i prefer the smaller dot, you can turn it up and bloom it if you want it big for up close, but for distance, i find it easier to use the smaller dot more precicely... you can shoot tight with the 4, but i just find it covers up the target too much for target shooting at long range IMO.
