Looking at buying a 3-9X 40mm Redfiled for my BCM 16" middy. I've read tons of good reviews on them thus far. Any feedback from arf members would be appreciated. Possibly alternatives if you have something you prefer. My plan is to cash in my credit card rewards for a $125 bass pro shop gift card. Also looking for a good mount around $100. Preferably a QD. Looking at the Burris at the moment.  The goal is to use it for coyote and feral pig hunting here in CA.

I put a Redfield 3x9x40 on a muzzleloader last year or the year before and for the money you can't beat it.  I really like it for glass that you won't need to dial, the furthest I shoot the ML is 200 yards so it's GTG for that role.  It's nice and clear

I have a 4-12 on the rifle my wife shoots, and for Pocket friendly optics, its my go to brand. I have a 3-9 on my 10-22, and my father in law has 4... We like em.

I hunt in a dark overgrown jungle were a 150 yard shot is rare. My 50mm Redfield Revolution gathers light very well for a 200 dollar scope. Last year I got 5 deer all in low light conditions and 2 turkeys. The scope now lives on a Model 10 Savage.

I am really happy with the Redfield 3-9 that I have on one of my hunting rifles.  Great scope for the money.

i have a 2x7x33 on my Marlin 336Y. it's a very clear scope, the glass is clear and bright through all levels of magnification. one thing i noticed about it is that if i look through the scope off center the recticle looks to be a goldish color. not sure if that is normal or not for these scopes.

i like the scope for the money. a good buy in my opinion.

Cool. Thanks for all the positive feedback. Redeemed my gift cards, but they said it'll take 2-3 weeks to mail them, which means I'll miss the $30 rebate from Redfield. But $125>$30.
