Are these as high quality as advertised?  How do they stack up against the competitors?  Made in USA which is nice and also a lifetime warranty.  I am considering one for my next precision rifle.

Mistake or good to go?

My stepfather has an old one on a Marlin 30-30.  He's had it since ~1981 or so and it's still fully functional.  Provided their quality hasn't slipped over the years, I'd say they're GTG.

I appreciate the response, it is ironic that you talk about an old scope being good because they ceased production for a number of years and were just re-started recently.  the ads I see talk about being the same quality as before, i was wondering if anyone has had thier hands on a new one to verify.

The new Redfields are made by Leupold, here in the U.S.,  to their quality standards, and have the lifetimne warranty.

They are good to go.

+1

I have yet to use one, however I have handled quite a few, and it seems that Leupold has done a great job bringing Redfields back

I have seen some of the new Redfields. They are pretty nice scopes meant for the entry level shooter or thoses on a budget. I would feel pretty good mounting a new Redfield on my rifle.

Just mounted a new 3-9x40 Redfield Revolution with the Accu-Range reticle on my Rock River Arms. I'm very pleased with it. Clear all the way to the edges, light transmission is excellent.
