Does anyone know if the 300 degrees necessary to cure Molyresin is too hot for Tritium sights?  If so, how high could I go, and then just extend the time heated.  I know I should just take the sights off, but I don't want to do that unless the heat will harm them.

Thanks!

I doubt a 300 degree temp would harm any of the individual components of you sight-glass, metal etc.  However the glass tube which contains the tritium is probably glued or epoxied into the sight base, and a temp that high could cause problems.  Your best bet is a quick call to the manafacturer, they'll be the ones who know for sure.

If your in doubt, get some Duracoat, it doesn't need to be oven cured.
