I've heard some really good things about Rem Oil. (from Remington)
I haven't tried it yet, (DPMS LR-308B).
Any input on it?

Not bad. I personally use Miltec for lube. For the cleaning Eezox and CLP. Down the bore I use Hoppes 9.

Love it!  Just the right blend of lubricant and cleaner - does a great job as both without the need for another.

Just my opinion, though...

Might use Rem oil if it is this good. Really haven't used it much. I get tired of using 3 different lubes/cleaners.

I started using it when I was in the Army to clean my M16.  After returning from the range I would just spray the rifle down and let it sit for about 20 minutes - then start cleaning.  The crap would just fall off.

I've used it since and still love it.

I use it all the time with positive results.

There's nothing wrong with it.  Seems to work fine.  I prefer Ezeox and Corrosion X, and have used the Tetra grease with good results, but I have never heard of anyone having an issue with it.

Great stuff, I love it.

Great stuff.  A little will go a long way.  Well not the way we shoot around here though.

I used Remoil for a few years but was never really satisfied with it. More than once I had to stop shooting and reapply it.  Then came the move from Alabama to northern New Hampshire. To my surprise the Remoil froze in its cans! That was it. They went to the garbage and I never looked back. I've settled on Eezox and FP10, but there are many superior oils to Remoil out there. Militec, CorrosionX to name a few.

Outside of cold and dusty environments, it does OK.  You are describing an environment (New Hampshire, kind of like Siberia, but colder) that cries out for Ezeox!

i use rem oil on everything i have and also keep a small bottle in my range bag. i also use that 3 in 1 oil. i picked up a fairly large bottle of that at lowes for a couple of dollars. im not overly particular about the type of lubricant i use as long as it does a good job.

I don't like it.   Half the product is solvent.  The other half is just a light mineral oil.  No anti-wear, EP or esters to keep metal appart.  There are much better products out there.

I have used it, but stopped when I found fp-10 and bf clp. I never liked how light (viscoity (sp)) REM oil was.
