Does anyone have an advice on a removable vice setup that I could use for shop style work in an apartment.  I'll be rebarreling AR-15s, etc.  I just don't have the room to have a dedicated workbench, since I am in a 2 bedroom apartment. Thanks.

I've used a bench vise that I bolted to a long 2x4, worked good enough to get that barrel nut torqued down

You can get a B&D Workmate type folding workbench, mount a vice on a piece of wood, then clamp the wood in the workbench jaws.

I think RustedAce had a similar set up that worked for him.  I believe it was a 2x6 though.  Bolt it down but leave enough room on either side to stand on when torquing down barrel nuts..ect.

I did my first build in my apt.  Screwed the vise to a 2x6.  The winch wasn't used, it just happened to be on the board for something else.
