| I have a Bushmaster V-Match carbine, and I'd like to remove the aluminum handguard and install an ARMS SIR-M. Can anyone tell me where I can find information on the tools and steps required to remove the current handguard? Thanks! |

I don't own a V-Match but it looks like the free float tube is smaller then the gastube so it needs to come off. Depending if they're one piece or two the tube maybe hex screwed to a ring on the aft end of the FF tube to index it. You'll need a steel pin punch - 1/16" IIRC as the gas block has to come off - the whole front sight comes off and then you simply unscrew the handguard like a big 16" long screw.
