I have a YHM lo-prp gas block. It has the cup/bracket against it that holds the front of the HG in place. I'm about to install a RA'S EVO FF HG & I need to get this bracket off but I don't think I can get the ITS Forked flash hider off w/out also loosening the barrel w/out special tools. So can I loosen gas block, slide forward & then use some good tin snips, dremel or something & cut this bracket off? Thanks.

I used tin snips to take off a handguard cap that was loose.

It wobbles a bit as it is. I also need to get the delta ring off. I may just nut up & take it to the not-so-local local AR shop. The 'smith in my small town sucks.

neither end is hard to do.  I've done a handful of delta rings with a dremel.  go slow and watch to make sure you arent getting the barrel nut.  It is a bit messy.  My hg cap was loose and I couldnt drive the pins out of the fsb so I cut it with the tin snips at about 12, 4 and 8.  It came off easily.

Well, I just talked to my closest AR shop, Dallas Shooting Supplies, & Morgan said he'd remove the delta ring & the HG cap for free!!!!! I'm gonna go that route but thanks for your input!
