I have an Armalite m-15 16" H-bbl. with the Muzzle brake/Comp. I want to send it to Armalite to have them remove the muzzle brake should the ban sunset. Has anyone had this done before, will they thread my barrel and put on an A2 flash hider or will it have to be permanently attached due to the barrel being post-ban?

If the bill sunsets you should be able to attach any type of fs/mb that you wish, threaded or permanently attached.
