I just got a JP tension pin for my ArmaLite, but I can't remove the stock...HOW!!!

Not to be a jackass or anything Quib. Could you just tell me how to take the stock off; appreciate the links though, might have to use them some other time. No of fence meant.

Carbine stock? If so, then you might need a stock wrench to remove the castle nut.

Failing a stock wrench, you might tape up the jaws on a set of pliers and attempt removal.

Seriously, if you are going to be involved with building AR's, or changing out furniture, a stock wrench is a must have tool.

Never mind, it had a little locktite on the screw and I just need to put some elbow grease into it. Mission accomplished.
