The advantage is that when the ammo is loaded into stripper clips, you slide the guide over the back of the magazine, put the clip into the guide, press down on the top round and 10 rounds are loaded into the magazine all at once. Repeat 2 more times and your magazine is fully loaded before you'd manage to get 5 loose rounds into the magazine. It's a lot faster to use. As far as packing goes, curently you have your clips, cardboard sleeves, bandoliers, cans and crates. You have 10 rounds on a clip, 3 clips in a cardboard sleeve and 4 of these cardboard sleeves in a bandioleer with a clip guide in each bandioleer (generally in the first pocket) for a total of 120 rounds per bandolier. There are 7 bandiolers per ammo can for a total of 840 rounds and 2 ammo cans per crate for a total of 1680 rounds. |
