I finally got around to replacing the trigger in the 1st AR that I put together, basically a STAG standard carbine w/ an A2 stock (Kalifornia build) A buddy of mine provided the LPG as a gift. The build went together smoothly but the trigger was the most gritty, creepy go switch of ANY in my vault.
I replaced that assembly w/ a Spikes Battle Trigger and the difference couldn't be more dramatic! MUCH crisper break and virtually no creep or gritty feel. I'm heading to the range this w/e to do some testing to see if group sizes improve over the 2'- 2 1/2' @100 yds I was averaging before. |
