[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Replacement mount for Aimpoint PRO

I want to replace the mount for my PRO and switch it to something more similar to the ACO mount. I tried looking for an ACO mount but could not find one, does Aimpoint or any other distributor sell these mounts? If not, what is the USGI mount for Comp M2's? I noticed a lot of service rifles have mounts that look like the ACO mount, does anyone know who manufactures them?

Wilcox mount is good to go and is an issued aimpoint mount

Larue LT150 is a badass aimpoint QD mount

Or LT172 (I think?) if you want a cantilever style

LaRue LT 150 or the Wilcox mount.

I've used both, both excellent.

The original mount was the QRP1. They sucked a little more than the QRP2. Technically there is no g.i. mount for those anymore since the Comp M4 took over back in '08 I think....

If you really want an ACO mount, have you thought about just trading your QRP2 straight across to someone who bought an ACO? Could be a win-win for someone who has an ACO but wants a QD mount.
