| Need help deciding on reticle for Leupold optics purchase. Which is better and why the TMR or Mil Dot. Any help greatly appreciated. |
I have leupold mk4's with both TMR and Mildot. I prefer the TMR. Makes it a bit easier for ranging. Gives 1/2 mil hashes and even finer hashes at the edge of the reticle. Granted, the job can be done with either, but the TMR is just plain more accurate for ranging and easier. Unless of course you are a sniper for a living.. they can range with mildot better than I can with a TMR
