Okay, I currently am waiting for my 601 lower to come back from anodizing, and when it does I will be able to finish my 601.  My XM16E1 lower from Victor will be here next month, so I can finish my XM16E1.  And hopefully, my last XM607 project will be finished this Spring, and then I will have to take a Retro break.

I ran out of money for awhile.

But it's my own fault.  I spent a good chunk of my retro savings today on stuff that was not Retro.

The two pouches of goodies:

Not exactly retro, but I wanted to share with this Forum.

Will probably start back up again in the Fall after the coffers have had time to fill back up.  In the meantime, I'll just hang out here and post some.  But no new projects for awhile.

TOO LATE.  uxb, ever since you got me started on trusts, I've put my 601 and XM177 projects on hold, have submitted TWO form 1's, and have been collecting parts for MK18 Mod 0 and late model 733 projects.  I should have all the parts by the time I get my stamps.

NOW DON"T get me started on the NV stuff - I've already been reading comparisons between PVS-14's and MUM's...  I need a night sight like I need to see The Omega Man again...

Umm, is that a RIS or a RAS?

Thats a pretty nice bit of "optic" you have there......

I feel your pain with putting the retro stuff on hold....I'm still "laying low" after the Mini-Uzi purchas a few months back.....and an impulse buy of one of the ex-German police HK P7's that are floating around.

For the future though, I have some special plans involving one of the NDS Armalite "Hollywood" style uppers (when they are available), a Sudanese AR-10 handguard, and a friend who is a really good machinist.......

UXB, Up here in Minnesota, NV, snow, a little moon, coyote's and a little lead. Perfect combination. If you get the chance to try it out in snow, you'll have fun. 4weelin

I'm going to have one heck of a fuel bill following all those potato trucks.

I paid waaaay too much, but it's not often that you get a package deal on a PVS-17B made in September with 40 minutes of tube time since manufacture.

I was shopping for a PVS-14.

Couldn't pass it up.  That and the PEQ-2A helps towards my SOPMOD "kit".
