My XM177 project seems to be cursed...I thought all that was holding me up was a grenade ring, and now someone in apartment 383 in my complex (as opposed to 353 where I live) is probably wondering why Fedex deliverd them two flash hiders from a company called Bushmaster.

Hope you got your FHs.  Hate it when that happens.  Better than having the driver leave the package out in the rain instead of on the porch.

The worst part is Bushmaster had the addres right but the driver delivered it to the wrong address and logged it in as such...and it appears to be a vacant apartment but when I walked over there- no package.

Fedex offered to do a recall and redeliver- there is no question it was their screw up so worst case scenario they will be paying ofr new goods.  In the meantime I am just going to put a note up at the mailboxes and hope that someone took it in to their apartment by accident.

I had the same thing happen with a crate of ammo- when I knocked on the door of where it was sent the guy answered with a "I bet I know what YOU are here for!" and a smile.

I hear ya.. my 605 is ready and has been waiting for a bbl for almost 6 weeks.

And I have 2 other builds (XM177E2, another 605) that are all but finished that are waiting for a certain barrel guru to get back in the business.

It'll be nice when it all comes together!

They delivered my Garand from CMP that way. The old woman across the street thought her husband had ordered it before he passed. Her hands were covered with cosmolene when she answered the door.

LOL, I have a machnist friedn who will cut, crown, and pin the barrel for free...but we don't want to do any cutting until we know exactly how much needs to be taken off to leave it 16" legal...

Bushmaster earns a gold star in my book...the CS rep let out a sigh when I told her the package got misdelivered...apparently this is not the first time this has happened for them.  She is going to give Fedex 24 hours to find the package, and then ship me a replacement one on Monday if it doesn't turn up.
