I have a Nodak NDS16 a1 receiver on the way. I just received my LPK from J&T distributing. My problem is the trigger guard is black, very black. Does anyone know where I can get a grey trigger guard?

Keep an eye on the EE. They show up now and then. Also Gunbroker. There was a guy that had some on there a couple of weeks ago.

Essential Arms sells a gray Tough-coat trigger guard; it is not an exact match. You will also have to spend a lot of time trying to get through to them right now just for a trigger guard.  Your best best is either to wait for one to show up, or you can send one to US Anodizing to have it reanodized in XM Gray to match the NDS-16A1.

I use to do that along with the mag button, charging handle and slip ring while I was spraying the lower.

Now that I use the NoDak lowers, I send multiples of these pieces off to US Anodizning so I have them on hand.  Just didn't seem right spraying these parts any longer when using a nice newly anodized XM Gray lowers.

someone here in the retro forum mentioned using steel wool to make it grey.  i did it for an IDF build and it looks pretty good.  definitely lightens it.  plus it's free, if you don't like it, you can still get it refinished.  worth a shot.

I have found them at gun shows as recently as this year, mixed in with the black ones.

ETA: Here's one.
