Ar's have become so popular and to most people all look the same.

I understand it.

Went to the range and had the same response out of an M44 Mosin.

Nothing like a 3ft flame to get your attention.

Get the same with my good old M1 Carbine.

everyone seems to have a flattop m4 style around here, so botht the Garand and my 20" a2 get fondled all the time.

Couch? Check.
Rifle? Check.

Holy Cow there's an idea.
How about a BCM Garand?

Just think, in 60 years the 20" A2's will be collector items.

Do your AR's gang up on the Garand when the safe door is closed?

That would work about as well as a bunch of Glocks trying to gang up on an M1911A1. Won't end well for the Glocks.

Well there are 3 Garands and they are taller so they pretty much hold their own!

I have half a dozen Garands in the back of my safe as well as a few AR's on the sides up towards the front. Whenever I open the door the AR's are always bunched up at the front shivering.

When this one is in the rack at the range EVERYONE stops and fondles it with their eyes. I usually go through an extra 4 or 5 enblocs with people trying it out. I don't mind, it is fun being a carrier and infected others.

Let me guess. Cleaning it, thought the bolt was all the way back and locked, touched the follower with the thumb and WHACK!

Was I close?

Oh yeah. Been there, done that.......twice.
