nice write up..... I have been running the FSC for a little while, although it has a flash hider in the front, it is still a brake at the base of the design so the flash hider functionisn't as effective as said a vortex or even a standard A2. that being said, compare the FSC to the DNTC, the FSC is a much more effective flash suppression device with the added ability of a muzzle brake. this brake are very capable, the follow up shot are easily accomplished with almost no muzzle rise. my platofrm is a LMT MRP CQB with 14.5inch barrel and a 9mm buffer. the brake itself are still loud and it still distrub the shooter next to you, but it is not as bad as the DNTC. as for night fighting, this will still give away your position, but a GemTech Halo can fit over this FSC. I will be running the FSC for a while until my PWS piston upp is ready then I will run the FSC with the piston upper to find the most flat shooting system available. |
I use the DNTC308 on my 6.8SPC and it is very nice and quieter than the MSTN/PRI and has less side blast. It does produce some flash, but not as bad as the PRI. I'm waiting on the FSC30 to come in so I can tr it out. |
So far as I know is the FSC30 allready out. At least they have it on there homepage. |
Mine was shipped out already, but I didn't get mine yet because of the Holiday delays. |
