Any of y'all try BVAC .223 ammo? I was thinking of getting some just to shoot at the range.

I picked up 100 rounds from Cheaper than Dirt last week. Not a large sample size but all of them looked great. Couldn't tell it was once fired brass. A lot cleaner and nicer than the Federal milsurp stuff I bought that day.

All 100 ran through my Spikes/BCM build without a hitch.  I wasn't really shooting for groups. I was really just blasting away with my friend who had never shot a gun before.

I will be getting more to try again. Will have to go to the outdoor range and actually put it through its paces next time.

I've shot about 500 rds of their 64gr PSP, and have had no problems (so far).

As already noted, the brass looks good, and it doesn't seem to be overly dirty.

Awesome, looks like I'll be stopping by CTD to grab some. Thanks.

I am really interested in a few of these companies that manufacture ammo this is high on my list along with freedom munitions and RBS. and a few others. I dont like that you cant order from BVAC directly.

Just picked up some of HSM's version of 5.56 75gr TAP. Hopefully will get to try it out this weekend.

its pretty good as range ammo, not too terribly precise, and a good amount of power I buy the 1000rnd case from my gun shop and I've had maybe 2 that failed to fire. It tends to burn a little bit dirty, but overall for the price its worth it IMO.
