| Hey guys, anybody use a rguns upper on spikes lower ? I was wondering how they fit together , I snoozed on getting the spikes upper that was on sale at AIM. Anyway rguns has an upper with twisted barrel that caught my eye , any info on rguns uppers is appreciated, thanks. |

rguns has a bit of a bad rep.
and upper/lower fit is determined by the individual tolerances in each upper and lower. You'll never know until you try. But odds are yes it'll fit unless one of the parts is a RRA or other manufacturer known with over-tight tolerances. Also... I mean this in the most helpful way possible, but both of these questions are pretty basic, and covered by a quick google. If you havent lurked and researched enough to have basic info like this in your knowledge base then you might not be ready for smart buying quite yet. I recommend just reading the forums here for a couple weeks... all of the posts, you'll pick up quite a bit of info that should cover almost every question you'll ever need, without even asking. Hey thanks for the reply, and I am not offend by your reply, i just wasn't spacific with my question. what i meant was has anybody ever put a RGUNS complete upper on a SPIKE'S lower and was it a hammer out the take down pins fit? or could they be pushed out with finger pressure?
I have a AR that is very tight which I dont like, so I dont wanna have two that way. thats kinda what i meant, i know it might be a hit or miss but if more people said it was a nice fit i would go for it, even with their bad rep for customer service because i wouldn't call or email i would show up there this is a great forum and i have read and learned alot here, once again thanks. |

Rguns upper on a Spikes lower? WHY? Use a Del-Ton. Rguns stuff is DPMS rejects. THANK YOU!! thats the info i was looking for, the only reason i was considering it was because it had the look i wanted. I guess i'll have to add what i want on a quality upper. |
| Just messin with ya, if you like the looks of a Rguns upper on a Spikes lower, what difference what I think. It's your money, your gun do what you like. I personally haven't seen anything from Rguns that I'd spend money on. My Spikes lower has a FN M16A2 upper on it. But then that's just me. |
