I just bought a RR complete lower and thought the stock was an entry (short) A2 which would've taken a carbine buffer. Well, after I got it home, I realized it wasn't a short A2 but a regular A2 (I swore it felt shorter when I looked at it in the store) and has a rifle length buffer and spring. I know carbine's have different weight buffers (reg, H, H2) but my question is: do rifle buffers have different weights as well? Been searching for info and can't find anything on rifle buffers (only carbine info out there).
Thanks.

No rifle length has only one buffer, when the A2 longer stock came out to replace the shorter A1 stock they added a spacer to make up the difference.

To clarify....
That spacer (5/8") does not affect the buffer.
It goes on the outside end of the tube to accommodate the longer A2 stock.
A1/A2 use the same rifle buffer.
