I need to know what height I need to mount a standard scope on a standard A3 upper. Just looking to get past the FSB with a 3x9 for load testing. I don't have any high rings and med are too low. Do I need a spacer or will high rings work? Thanks |

You don't need to get above the FSB, it will be invisible at any mag over 5x and up or so, and will only be a bit of a blur at 3x/4x. In order to have the scope at the right height for your cheek weld, you'll definitely need at least high rings, depending on the diameter of your objective. |
