I ordered what Rock River calls their Car A-4 complete rifle kit. The kit contains everything but the stripped receiver, which I already have. Anyway, when I ordered it last week the girl told me it would be 6 weeks before I received it. She called back again today saying that if I wanted to get it with their "light" barrel, they could build it and have it to me around the end of next week. Whatever barrel they were using in the kit was the reason for the holdup. The only light barrel I am familiar with is the Bushmaster government profile barrel and I assumed it was similar to that and told her o.k. Is anyone familiar with Rock Rivers' light barrel? Any input would be great. Thanks, Jack |
You did good. Instead of getting the heavy under the handguards barrel: You will get a "government profile" light under the handguards barrel:  I put "government profile" in quotation marks because it isn't exactly the standard M4 profile, but it is close enough. I think you will be happier with the lighter profile. |
