Alright folks, about to take the Rocksett plunge--how many drops again??

And what's the working time?

And if I mess up, then I'm pretty much screwed?

Thanks!

Rocksett is by no means permanent.  Read the instructions and you'll see it was designed to be removed with hand tools, just like loctite blue. It has a high heat resistence, that's all that's special about it.  It has a rep far beyond itself.

Just a drop or two and you'll be fine.  There's no messing up with Rocksett.

Is there a reason for it? Will a crush/peel washer not work?

Rocksett is used frequently for silencer mounts. You want them to stay put

My surefire silencer and mounts came with a small serving of rocksett. The stuff works exceptionally well, and can take the heat of continuous FA fire

Heh heh--just looked at the bottom of my Rocksett box and found the same exact instructions. Slight oversight in my part.

Thanks everyone!!
