Hey entropy;

I don't know what the heck's goin' on over at RCG. Earlier today all I got when trying to log on was the following single page message;

Sorry, the boards are offline at the moment

RCG Is currently offline.

We hope to be able to resume some time in the near future.

Thank-you to everyone who has contributed to our community and helped to build a better America.

The Internet Gunshow auction site should be able to remain online through the end of the month. (it has been pre-paid with the ISP through September 1)

We hope to be able to fund the main website, tutorials and forums again soon. Thanks to all the wonderful people that have helped us to make it this long. 3 years is pretty good for a self funded internet project.

If I can I PROMISE I'll get the site back online soon. We are hoping to get a bonus check in October that will help get us back on track, so wish us luck and stay safe.

P.S. The KT raffle is uneffected and participants will be notified via e-mail by Rick Celata directly. (after he arrives in Montana)

Welcome aboard, but your "WHO?" remark is really just an indication of your own individual lack of depth into the true meaning of what this forum is all about.

Roderus Custom Guns is a small corner of the internet that is populated, primarily, by "real" gunsmiths and by "real" firearms "builders".

It's sort of like the B.I.Y. (Build-It-Yourself) forum here at ar15.com "used" to be three or four years ago before it degenerated into its current state of being an A.I.Y. (Assemble-It-Yourself) forum.

If you don't understand the basic difference between "building" a firearm and merely "assembling" a firearm, come on over to the RCG Forums and have a look around.
