Yep, never noticed or thought to look. Would you infer, then, that these hammers may be of some quality and hold up to some abuse. I hope so, as I am running a few right now. |
| Actually the Dpms Lpk`s are great except for the bolt hold open in my experience, which can be of dubious quality. I`ve run Dpms hammers in most of my builds with no problems. Combined with a M16 carrier you will notice a much smoother feel when you pull the charging handle. |
That's good to know. And conicidently, I found an out of spec bolt stop in one of my lowers today - fully depressed, it would not catch the bolt. Something is bent or wrong with it. I'll replace it with something I know is good. Thanks for the info. |
You're kidding, right? In case you're not, no an M16 hammer is not going to get you into any trouble; though I would advise you to grind off the full auto tab before you install it. The DPMS hammer I have is unmarked, while the trimmed M16A2 hammer in another piece has mfr's code marks on it. Otherwise, they look and function the same. |
