[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Rubber Band For VG

I got my MS2 a few weeks ago, but I'm having problems getting it to stay on my VG. The velcro it came with was worthless, and the rubber band was too big and slips off my VG when handled, even with the velcro still on the back of the switch. Is there a place to buy a smaller rubber band, or are you guys making your own?

Bicycle tire inner tube. Cut small sections, it will last you a lifetime. Purchase at your friendly neighborhood sporting goods establishment, or beg a bike repair shop for trashed tubes.

what size, like a 20" or the skinny one like on the old 10 speeds?

O rings may also work depending on the type of forgrip

Couldn't really tell you...

Just take a look at some inner tubes, and decide if you can stretch it over your VFG and switch. Tighter is better, but too small means you won't be able to get it to fit, so use your discretion.

I just went to a sorting goods store, and started looking at inner tubes.

10 speed Inner tubes work for the KAC style grips. Cost about $2 and you have a life time supply. It's what I have been using for years.

I use black electrical tape to secure my switches to the VG, works like a charm
