Apparently they can be hit or miss. Hit: I have a VOMZ 4x with etched Dragunov 1000yd rangefinding illuminated reticule (LOL since it's on a .22lr now) and it has really clear glass and only cost me ~$30 used.  Miss: I acquired an ATN 5X33L scope in a trade batch and beyond the crazy yellow tint, I'll be buggered if this thing is ANYWHERE near a 5x scope. More like a 2x, max. It's almost like looking through a scope backwards.  ETA: Forgot to say that targets are out of focus at any distance through the ATN scope and it has NO adjustability.  |
