Can some one point me to a flow chart of have any idea where I can find the steps the ATFE takes? I am wondering this because they cashed my check and i was wondering how far along in the precess this takes place. I have been told they cash the check the, after it clears, they pass the paper work uphill to the next person, etc. Thanks in advance. Later, Jeff |

Check is cashed in Chicago. Check clears and forms are sent to Washington D.C. After sitting for about 3 weeks they go 'pending' which means they are entered into the system For individuals it takes a while for the FBI fingerprint check to go through - 3 or 4 months and it becomes 'approved' Forms arrive anywhere from 3 days to 3 weeks in your mailbox after approval. |
