Hey guys! I just got back from Astan, and while I was there I ordered a 10.5inch upper and a LMT lower. I need to get this sucker legal, so I can take it out and shoot it. Can anyone give me any info on what I need to do to get this thing stamped by the ATF ?

File a ATF form 1 application for your lower. When it is approved and you recieve the tax stamp put the upper on!

Yeah the upper is still in the box it came in, and the lower is in a different room......Im not getting caught up in some legal mess!

You are currently unintentionally guilty of possesion of an unregistered SBR... you have components under your control that have no way of being configured legally and are easily configured into a SBR. Give your upper to a friend and send off for your Form 1 one you get your info engraved on your lower. That gets the upper and lower both out of your house ASAP.

If you have a pistol lower you are OK. I will assume you have one or else youd be admitting to a felony.
