I just thought I would share my good luck.... You know when you pull out a winter coat you stored during the summer and find some cash stashed in the pocket that you forgot about......well this is kind of like that. I was digging through my old Marine Corps gear looking for some riggers tape (don't ask) when I got to an old Alice pack that I haven't used in forever (I always carried a mountain ruck) I heard something rattling. I opened a pocket to find two almost new condition OKay Ind. 30 round Mags.  Talk about happy.  .......now if I could just find that damn riggers tape.

Very nice! I wish I had all my magazines that I took to the sandbox with me... I took a boatload that I'd accumulated over the years and took 'em "just in case." They stayed there when I left (which is all good, in retrospect: the boys needed 'em more than I ever could on the range). All in all, I ended up with roughly 15 of 'em, but I took over 40 to the sandbox with me... and they were all really nice "range mags" that S-4, for one reason or another, told me to "hang on to." |
