ETA, Found the problem, a wandering decimal, it's 0.035" not 0.35".

I swear I used to know how to do this but I keep coming up with a crazy sounding number

.35" sight shift along a 14.5" sight radius at 100 yards equals an ~87" shift in POI?

.35(3600/14.5)=86.9

What am I doing wrong?

.035(3600/14.5)=8.7

yeah I got a laugh out of that too

to clarify, the member of another forum was told (by DPMS) that the DPMS "low pro" upper was .035 higher than other flattops. I was doing the math to figure out what that was in MOA.
