| Got my BCM build done! but there is some slightly noticeable slop/wiggle between upper & lower. I KNOW it has been covered on here a thousand times that it dsnt matter but i have no wiggle w/ my other complete rifle. I know it dsnt affect accy but will i get used to this?? Just forget about it? |

It is actually intended so that the rifle can be more easily and quickly field serviced in case of a serious malfunction. It will have no negative impact on accuracy and I think you will get used to it pretty quickly. Just shoot the hell out of it. Loose girls need lovin' too! ![]() |

Won't hurt a thing. Get a accuwedge if it bothers you. I use the accu wedge in all my AR's. I have good hearing and can hear "rattle" with the slop between some of my uppers and lowers. The normal JOE might not hear it but i suppose im anal.. Best $1 i ever spent! |

And the answer is always accuwedge. If you have heard the answer 1000 times, why ask the question? |
| My BCM had a slight upper wiggle. No rattle and it didn't effect accuracy but it would click or shift in my hand just when I wasn't expecting it, like a loose filling on a tooth. A #7 O ring from the plumbing isle at Home Depot over the front pivot lug made it tighter than a preacher's daughter. |

I fought the same "battle" when I was new to the platform. I had and accuwedge, and did the o-ring trick (which needed replacing every freakin range trip). Got tired of screwing around fixing a non-existent problem.
Don't piss money away on some rubber piece of crap. You've got a good weapon there and it's fine the way it is. |

Quoted: My upper and lower started off pretty tight, and over the years has started to wiggle. It still shoots the same so I don't care. My friend's AR is tight as hell and it's a pain to take it apart. I actually prefer somewhat of a loose fit. I have a 2 year old DPMS lite 16 and the pins are still fucking hard to push out. I have never been able to push the pins out with out using a round or some other tool. I also like a little "slop" between the upper and lower. |
