Has anyone ordered from SOTA Arms? If so, how was the transaction?
Also, the website says 6 to 8 weeks to ship a complete upper. I am ok with the wait and they seem to have decent prices for the current market, I just don't want to wait 3 or more months. SOTA complete upper |

It took about a week longer than they quoted. Before the panic.

| I have worked with a number of their x39 uppers and have been happy with all of them. Each had some tiny cosmetic flaw but not anything big enough to complain about. The times listed on the site are pretty accurate. They do not give status updates or respond to questions about when items will ship. All the uppers I have handled from them have worked perfectly. |
| I took the leap and ordered from them April 1. I heard good things and they were very nice and helpful answering all my questions through the process. However, since i ordered they have not responded to emails or answered the phone. Would anyone here know how the forearm is attached? I am looking to put on a midwest industries free floating quad rail when i get the upper but am not sure which "generation" i need. |

Well, $99 buys something that isn't as advertised. I ordered a barrel with an M4 profile cut and got something else that doesn't match the picture on their site. Other than that, it looks fine, the M4 feedramps look good, rifling looks OK, no chips in the barrel around the gas port. I sent them an email with a picture, we'll see what happens. |
| I ordered upper on March 29th and received it last Friday, May 10th... 40 days, by my count which is under six weeks. I called with a question this morning and they answered by mid-day. I think that since they are one of the few companies that are actually FILLING ORDERS RELIABLY and they are a small company, they are swamped and would recommend patience. Their prices are worth it. Quality seems pretty decent but haven't used the upper yet. |
