I am about to remove the flashhider from SP1 to fit a miculec comp is there anything I should know before doing this or does it just screw off. How does the rear sight come apart as I have a XS same plane rear appature that I also want to fit. Just fitted cavalry arms olive drab furniture set and looks excellent really happy with the quality of their product. saving the JARD till last wish me luck :-) |

Just put the appropriate sized wrench on the two flats at the rear,and unscrew. It'll be tight so have the upper/barrel assy well secured. Re the rear sight, look at the hub of the windage wheel, and you'll see a really tiny pin there. Drive out that pin, and then unxcrew the hub from the left----and watch out for small springs and things that tend to go flying off if you're not careful
