| Hey guys I was given a SP1 lower by my uncle a while back and I'm just getting around to starting another build. My question is are these rare and would I be better off saving it for something else and using a psa or other brand lower? I'm going to use this rifle for coyote hunting and it'll probably get banged around pretty good. |

Welcome! As to rare, no, but not often seen as a stripped lower receiver. If you are building a retro AR, it is a great lower. If not, sell it for enough to build most of your coyote rifle. Folks in states that require pre-ban lowers would love it. This, someone out there will really like and appreciate it more. I bought an SP1 lower recently just because I wanted to make my SP1 carbine clone (in my avatar) a real SP1
SP1 lowers arent the easiest to build AR's around because of the front pivot pin size anyway. |
