[ARCHIVED THREAD] - SP1 upper value?

Looking at a trade for an sp1 upper that has a foward assist, no case deflector, modern bolt and charging handle. What kind of value should I place on this upper?

To at least partially respond to the original.

1) Rules of this forum are that value discussion is a No No.

2)If it has a forward assist, it's NOT an SP1 upper. SP1s didn't have a forward assist.
And while there are few Forward assist uppers out there with big hole front lugs, the majority of available uppers w/forward assists will be M16A1 types, or the Canadian style late C7 type that also has the ejection hump.

Sorry, but price requests are touchy here because they are viewed as advertising. Try the "barrel and Upper reciever" (somthing like that) forum. You can discuss prices there all day long!

Presumed to be advertising?? I took it that he was trying to trade FOR an SP1 upper, not trade one away; and just wanted to know if he was getting a good trade.

Of course I could be wrong too!
