| I shot my first AR today. Is it normal to hear the buffer spring go sproing! every time you shoot? Not a big deal....just wondering. |

Sounds like your buffer tube / spring are too dry if the 'Sproing' is that noticeable.
Try applying a very very thin layer of heavy weight oil or grease in side the tube and very lightly on the spring itself. That sound should be lessened or eliminated. It's music, but can also be annoying, too. |

It's music, but can also be annoying, too. I always heard it was supposed to make the noise and a little oil on the spring wouldn't hurt but don't grease it. |
